Product Description

This Auto rotor commutator turning machine is used for commutator outer diameter turning. Meanwhile, if equipped with suitable cutter, this machine can also be used for turning the armature core outer diameter which has small imbalance value. There are two kinds of turning machine, axial turning and radial turning type to meet different customers` commutators.

This machine is widely used for turning the commutator and armature of automobile motor, motorbike starter motor, power tool motor, permanent magnet motor, DC servo motor, electrical bike disc-type motor etc.

Features

This commutator turning machine adopts cemented carbide V type fixture with oiling lubrication to support bearing. Rotating belt drives armature to rotate. Cylinder and motor speed are .automatically control by electronic. This machine also adopts Delta PLC, Mitsubishi servo control system to control machine action. work piece rotation speed achieves stepless speed by by Mitsubishi inverter. It uses import diamond cutter for turning. With reliable performance and high efficiency, it has following features:

1. Adopt cemented carbide V block to support armature shaft. It is easy to load and unload. Keep the concentricity between shaft and commutator or armature. There is no need to drill center hold on shaft.

2. There is a small hole in the middle of cemented carbide V block. During turning, KP control the atomized lubricator to spray oil for shaft lubrication, so as to extend the life time of V block and avoid shaft damage.

3. Cutter feeding adopt cylinder. There is a dial indicator on the cutter holder for easy for observation and control of the cutter feeding value.

4. Adopt frequency conversion stepless speed regulation, suitable for armature with different diameter and technology.

5. PLC and electronic control.

6. Transmission adopt import flat belt, little runout and long working life.

Working principle

The machine is a one-way power input 220V, 50H. The power is converted to 0-40Hz via frequency converter. The motor is driven by three-phase power supply with line voltage of 220V. Then motor drives belt. Armature rotation is caused by the friction between the belt and the armature outer surface. cutter movement at X,Y axis is achieved by cylinder and servo motor. The whole track is a [□" shape. The process of belt pressing, cutter feeding, cutter back, cutting, retreating, and the motor are controlled by PLC.

0.5-0.7 Mpa compressed air firstly passes through a pipe exhaust valve then the joint part, air filter, and atomized lubricator. The working pressure of the cylinder is adjustable. There are three two-position five-way magnetic valves to control the working of X, Y direction and the belt by computer programming. During belt pressing, the V-shape clamp will spray oil mist to lubricate armature shaft.

A proximity device is installed near the origin. After reset, press running button at the automatic position, the cylinder will press the armature in the V-shape frame. And machine will cut the armature automatically. If the proximity switch is not aligned to the origin, the motor will keep on running after the cutting and the next procedure will be discontinued. A proximity switch is to control the cutter feeding and the proper positioning respectively. When the rotor touches the in-place proximity switch, the machine will automatically stop operation in sequence. Suppose there are two times turning, the second turning will automatically start when the in-place proximity switch is touched after the first turning.

Installation

1. In order to ensure the machine running reliably, the working environment should meet the below requirements:

a. Altitude should be lower than 1000m;

b. Working temperature should be within -10℃ to 40℃.

c. Free of explosive or corrosive gas or dust

d. Relative humidity of air should be less than 85% ( at 20℃)

2. The voltage and frequency of the power should be same as required.

3. The housing should have reliable grounding.

4. The compressed air used should be equipped with air filter dryer to prevent oil and moisture from entering the machine or jamming or eroding the pneumatic components.

5. The installation should be stable. X and Y direction of the working platform should be leveled by leveling gauge so as to avoid deviation during processing.

6. The power inlet line should be linked to the air breaker or 15A knife switch.

7. Before switching on the power to debug, check if the connection screws are tight and the electric wiring is reliable .

8. Ensure lubrication in time.

9. Insert the air tube to the inlet.
